ANNOUNCED THROUGH THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE

Presidency Resolution no 3490 was published in the Official Gazette dated 4.02.2021. According to the regulation, deduction of expenses equal to 10 percent of the portion of the expenses calculated based on the amount exceeding equity only, instead of a deduction based on all financial expenses will no longer be allowed. ANNOUNCED THROUGH THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE

-Ministry of Commerce shall be entitled to require keeping book of shares, minutes of the general assembly and negotiations in digital environment.

-In case of non-public joint-stock companies, holders of the share certificates issued to the bearer may no longer attend general assembly meetings only through evidencing their possession of the certificate.

-Board of directors shall prepare the list of holders of the share certificates issued to the bearer eligible to attend general assembly, according to the table of shareholders to be obtained from Central Registry Agency.

1 – (1) Aim of this communique is to set forth rules and procedures for the implementation of Law No 7194 on Digital Service Tax dated 5/12/2019 and Law on Amendment of Some Laws and Statutory Decree No 375, and the implementation of the provisions no 42 and 49 added under the section titled “Valuable Property Tax” of Property Tax Law no 1319 dated 29/7/1970.
